The PAC Storage 4000F/S Ultra 320 SCSI JBOD has been designed to provide small and medium sized enterprises a cost efficient yet powerful JBOD storage enclosure. This low cost solution delivers a combination of enhanced performance, functionality and reliability features and provides flexible system expansion and upgrade paths.

The 4000F/S provides data transfer speeds of up to 320 Mb/s per channel. Customers can utilize flexible configuration options and operate the 4000s in either dual (standard) mode or single (Optional) mode whereby throughput performance can be enhanced up to 640 Mb/s.
A range of 10,000 RPM and 15,000 RPM disk drives are supported.
System Scalability and UpgradesThe ultra high capacity 2U 12 drive storage enclosure offers up to 3.6TB of data storage. Users can scale their solution with two expansion enclosures increasing overall solution capacity to 10.8TB.
User friendly and flexible upgrade paths are also available, with the addition of PCI/PCI-X cards users can upgrade to a RAID solution. Alternatively dual active U160 RAID cards can be inserted to create a fault tolerant fully RAID solution.
System Reliability/AvailabilityFully redundant and hot swappable components include controllers, power supplies, cooling fans and AC power cords. Load sharing power supplies and hot swappable dynamically cooled disk drives ensure ambient temperature is consistently maintained.
